Hello all! It's Friday, the end of another great week here at Zeet. We made a bunch of changes this week, and compiled them all into one place for ya:
New Features
Let's start with the meat: what can I do on Zeet now, that I couldn't do before?
Highly-Available Spot Instances
Spot Instances are generally cheaper, but less reliable. With Zeet's Highly-Available Spot Instances, you get the cost savings without the reliability tradeoff! Try it out today:
Custom List Views
We've added onto the List View feature we announced last week, and you can now select which properties you want to see on the List View:
This helps you understand your complicated stack, and focus on the info you care about.
New Team Creation Flow
We've made it easier to get up and running on Zeet, as we push to make Zeet more accessible to everyone.
Linking a new cloud provider is now a simple click - for new teams and expanding ones!
Quality of Life Changes
In addition, we released several Quality of Life changes. These aren't necessarily new features, but they make using Zeet more of a ✨delight✨ everyday :)
Human URLs in Github Status
We've updated our Github Status integration to use the new Human Readable URLs that we announced last week
Long Branch Name Support
Long live the long branches! We've removed our previous limit on branch name length, so go wild with your 100+ character branch names. Fun fact: our longest branch name at Zeet was 50 characters (which we thought was pretty long) but it turns out many people use far longer branch names!
Misc. Bug Fixes
We squashed a couple of annoying 🐞s this week too! Most importantly:
- Fixed bug preventing certain Persistent Volume names
- Resolved a race condition that would send a deploy notification before deploys were complete
