Maybe the shortest Changelog yet, but that doesn't mean it's not worth a read. Right? You're still gonna read it? please
So What's New?
Open Project in the Same Tab
A tiny change that will yield a sizable impact. Now clicking a project in list view will open it in the same tab by default, hopefully saving you the dozens of tabs that inevitably ended up being open in the old world.
Configure your K8s Manifests and Helm Chart Projects
If you're used to deploying Helm or K8s Manifest Projects, you might also be used to some buddy behavior that was making configuring those projects difficult.
Well forget about that behavior because it's GONE. We fixed it. I know it was our fault, but you're welcome.
Product Usage Dashboard
Next week, you'll notice a "Usage" tab that shows you how you're using Zeet.
From this tab, you can get a high level view of how your team is using Zeet, upgrade your plans, and more!
Bug Fixes + Improvements
The 🐞s we squashed, and a few changes to look for this week.
Blueprints have been out for 3 MONTHS! That's a long time, not to mention in Data Dog years. So for a refresher, Blueprints fall into two camps.
Custom Blueprints allow you to bring in your own IaC, or find modules online, and create a reusable "Blueprint" that can be easily and repeatedly deployed to your clouds. If you have security or compliance constraints, you could easily find or create a IaC module with those baked in, confidently expose that Blueprint to your team, and create developer self-service that reduces how many got-a-minute pings you're dealing with.
Additionally, Zeet Blueprints allow you to deploy almost anything without any overhead. Web Apps, Serverless or Containerized Apps, DBs, some other thing? Navigate to the "+ New" menu and take a look, I guarantee we've got something for you.
We had a wonderfully refreshing offsite in Maui last week that allowed the whole team to come together to plan our next phase of growth and feature development.
More Blueprints, more features, more Zeet:
- Audit-log coming SOON
- Builds should be getting even faster
